Welcome to Botanical and Wildlife Illustration workshops
Third Saturday of every month,
Natural History Illustration workshops with Dr Natalia Balo are designed for people with a passion for Nature and drawing. The workshop program would be useful for beginners and experienced artists, as well as enthusiastic scientists and environmentalists, who wish to learn the art of depicting the form, colour, and details of plant, animal, bird and insect species, and techniques for sketching a field journal.
The regular monthly classes started as a series of Illustration workshops with Dr Balo for the Moreton Bay Regional Council Environmental Adventures program at the Redcliffe City Library/Gallery, which proved to be very popular. The regular monthly Illustration workshops became a reality with completion of the Old Redcliffe Fire Station Arts and Community Hub, the recent gift from Council to the Redcliffe creative community.
Workshops take place at the Old Redcliffe Fire station on the 3rd Saturday of every month, from 10:00am to 1:30pm (including tea break).
